FATHER AND FIRSTBORN

It is the role of the older brother to demonstrate the will of the Father to the rest of the family. God desires to be with mankind as a father desires to be with his children. God was saddened because He lost His family at the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden.

He worked throughout history to create for Himself a people or family, in the likeness of a firstborn son, whose roles would be to show other nations this desire of His. In this way Jesus came as the Firstborn of the sons of God. A Father’s desire is for His family to be united.

Jesus announced to humanity that God is our Father, and prayed in John 17 for unity among believers and between them and the Father. The Messianic remnant in Israel has a corresponding call to be a “firstborn” among nations; to help bring about the reunification of the family.

É o papel do irmão mais velho demonstrar a vontade do Pai para o resto da família. Deus deseja estar com a humanidade assim como um pai deseja estar com seus filhos. Deus ficou triste porque ele perdeu sua família na expulsão de Adão e Eva do Jardim do Éden.

Ele trabalhou ao longo da história para criar para si um povo ou a família, à semelhança de um filho primogênito, cujos papéis seria mostrar outras nações esse Seu desejo. Desta forma, Jesus veio como o Primogênito dos filhos de Deus. Um desejo do Pai é que sua família esteja unida.

Jesus anunciou à humanidade que Deus é nosso Pai, e orou em João 17 para a unidade entre os crentes e entre eles e o Pai. O remanescente messiânico em Israel tem uma chamada correspondente de ser um “primogênito” entre as nações; para ajudar a trazer a reunificação da família.
